Bruce Stevens

Bruce B. Stevens is the founder of the firm of Stevens Law LLC. His main areas of practice include business law, civil litigation, personal injury, estate planning and family law. Mr. Stevens is admitted to all courts and tribunals in the State of Ohio and is admitted to the federal court of the Northern District of Ohio. Mr. Stevens has handled numerous business issues involving setting up corporations and limited liability companies, drafting contracts and business succession plans, and the sale and valuation of businesses. He has also drafted numerous estate planning documents and has been involved in all phases of litigation including numerous trials. Mr. Stevens has presented various seminars on family law issues and issues affecting Ohio limited liability companies.


Mr. Stevens is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Wood County Bar Association. He is a past president of the Wood County Bar Association (2005), a past member of the Wood County Grievance committee (2004-2009), and a current member of the Wood County Domestic Relations liaison committee. (2006-present). Mr. Stevens has law offices in Bowling Green, Ohio and Columbus, Ohio and he spends time in both offices.


Mr. Stevens was born in Bowling Green in 1973. He graduated from Bluffton College in 1996 with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Mr. Stevens was named distinguished scholar in Sociology, he played football and was a student assistant coach for football, and a member of the Pi Delta academic fraternity. He helped research a project dealing with racial bias in judicial sentencing.


He received his juris doctorate from Ohio Northern University Law School with high distinction in 1999. He was a member of the Ohio Northern University Law Review and the Ohio Review Editor for the Ohio Northern University Law Review. He received the highest grade in the following classes while attending law school: Property, Remedies, Constitutional Law II, Introduction to Criminal Practice, and Municipal Law.


Mr. Stevens was on the Board of Directors for the Lutheran Home of Mercy which is a residential facility for mentally challenged adults (2007-2009). He is a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Mr. Stevens and his wife Kimberly reside in Bowling Green with their two sons.
